After a fifteen-year hiatus, I accepted a part-time position at the elementary school where I first began teaching. A dear teacher friend on campus asked if I would write a weekly Bible study geared toward teachers. After writing the first week, I knew it wasn't enough. Daily encouragement and reminders were needed. And that's how I arrived at creating The Master's Classroom.

 

Each Sunday, I'll send out an Introduction lesson for the week (this can also be used as a weekly group gathering if you wanted to lead a campus study), followed by weekday devotions with two goals: to grow educators spiritually AND professionally. Teachers lead a fast-paced existence, so each person can choose to do the activities or not. Ultimately, my prayer is that each educator will grow in their walk with Jesus and in skills that can benefit their classrooms.
